David J. Bishop

Dave was born in Norwich, CT and has lived in Mystic since 1979. He is the father of a 17 year old son, John. A man of many talents, Dave has experience as a draftsman, technical illustrator, public affairs officer, museum specialist/curator, engineering technician, painter, and author. He was the first curator of the Robert Mills Custom House museum in New London when the New London Maritime Society was formed in 1983. Always an admirer of the Wyland mural, he was eager to lend a hand to the restoration of the marine montage.
