Bill was born and raised in New
London. He is the owner of the building that is home to the Wyland
Whale mural. A graduate of University of New Haven, he served in the
U.S. Air Force for 8 years and was manager of New London's SNET office
for 28 years. Presently he is a local property developer who is active
in his community by serving as a City Councilor and member of the Citv
Center District. When he heard community members were interested in
saving the whale mural, he quickly welcomed the effort and donated
a great deal of time and financial support to the effort.
